@ tonyw - that is the first time I have seen a robin's nest. Thank you for that. bob - Great. Can't get much emptier than that. - that was a North American robins nest - very different from the UK robin. The only thing they have in common is a red breast. I'm sure the UK robin has a much smaller nest as it's a much smaller bird (and a lot friendlier too!) Tony |

Brenda, great finding! I love how you composed your shot -- the perspective (angle?), the leading lines, -- and how you applied the Rule of Odds (five benches). Great job (as usual)!

Thanks for the theme Sepiana. I emptied a couple eggs making this morning's breakfast. Bill, very original interpretation of Empty. What a capture! Great DOF, spot-on focus. The details on the empty shell are amazing. Great lighting!
As a side note -- why didn't I think of shooting an empty egg? I made frittata for lunch.
