I have run into a snag with my clipping mask.....I'm attaching screen shots of my layers and how the project looks at this point. I don't think the white should be showing but don't know how to make it disappear...have tried all the blend modes.

Helen, the photo should be above the shape you want to clip it to. Blend Mode: Normal

I detect an Easter theme for your page Rita. Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for providing the answer to Helen’s question. I was out for the night and I’m just home and was on the point of answering when I saw you beat me to it…lol

Lillias, I was just starting to make an Easter Card and used some of the details I had prepared for that. Two Birds...etc

Helen, the shape needs to be filled with a solid color, black or white is OK. Yours is an empty frame that let's you see through to the background, which I didn't realize in your previous post. Sorry I didn't look close enough.

Here is a clipping mask I made Helen. Give it a try. You can rotate it, resize it just as you like. Just put it below your photo in the layers tab and clip them together and it should be ok. Just click on it here and download it.

Lillias, thank you for the kind offer of your clipping mask.....I did try it but couldn't get it to fit the image the way I wanted: After much trial and error, I finally found one that worked for me: I figure if I am going to put in the time for the scrapping challenges......I want to end up with something I will use. As I mentioned in the last one, I am making a book for my granddaughter so it will be fun to add include these pages. Thanks for another great challenge, Lillias.

I’m glad you found a mask that worked for you Helen. I love your page and I think the silhouettes are inspired. Simone I like the mask you have used for those beautiful snowdrops. Is that a French Kiss mask by any chance? I have some of her stuff but I keep forgetting them!!!
