Yes, he confirmed my suspitions. It changed with CS3. reshacker, thanks for keeping us posted! I knew Jeff would know the answer. It looks like we can say -- "Case Closed".
It makes sense. The corresponding Photoshop version for PSE 6 is PS CS3. I am not familiar with PS CS3. I started with PS CS5 > PS CS6 and now PS CC. A long and steep learning curve!!!
