Since they built a glass-clad shopping centre opposite St Paul's this image has become a bit of a cliche, but works well enough in mono I think:

And the little gardener's hut in the centre of Soho Square also seems to suit mono:

Both initially processed in Lightroom then converted in Silver Efex.

alexr....I love this composition....unfamiliar to many of us here I would think.........the architecture of St. Paul's is just beautiful. Never having seen it in color, I think black and white a perfect choice for this scene.

I'm not used to 'seeing' in mono, so I'm really grateful that I now have the Black & White Challenge tickling away at the back of my head. This one fairly shouted out at me that it would work in mono; I think it does:

Sort of an abstract. The landscape currently is under construction and I spotted these pipes in the construction zone. I used PSE's convert to black & white and used the "urban landscape" option.
