Rita, this is awesome! I love this effect. Do you mind sharing how you achieved it?

- Created the composite with a photo I took of the Indian Memorial at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, MT. - Ran the file through Topaz Studio. - Ran the file through ON1 Photo RAW. - Applied a Color Lookup Adjustment layer, Soft Light blending more, 75% Opacity. - Applied the Texturizer Filter (Sandstone).

Sepiana, when I had arranged the three images, clouds, starter and mountains, I was happy with the layout, but the lighting did not match very well, so I tried several of the Topaz Impression filters and eventually settled on Degas Dancers at between 60% and 70% Strength. It evened out, sort of unified, the lighting and added a canvas texture at the same time.
Your combination with the Indian Memorial outline is a terrific idea and I like the processing.

just played with some adjustment layers and a bit of blurring in PSE bailey, nice job! Good choice of techniques for this starter image.

That's an awesome image. You should hang it on the wall!
Thanks for the kind words! The most difficult part was selecting/extracting the sculpture. The rest was smooth sailing.
I was going through my previous entries for the EP challenge and noticed I had used it before (EP #54 - Light in the Forest). That time the processing was much simpler -- no extraction, just blending it with the forest.

BillieJean, nicely done. You created a very interesting effect with your use of the Emboss filter on a landscape. It looks like a 3D effect. I was going to ask if anyone else thought it looked 3D, or whether it was my imagination. Apparently not. whippet, I guarantee you; it is not our imagination.
The Emboss filter is designed to make an image look raised by creating light and dark versions of the image and overlaying them to create the 3D effect.

Tried everything but the kitchen sink! If you really look closely....like ultra closely, you can see two photographers in the bottom right corner.

Crystal Ball - completely done in elements. Frank, I was hoping someone would come up with this kind of effect. You did it (and nailed it)!

Other image from Pixabay. whippet, very creative! Bringing the valley into the water. Great job! I dropped in really lucky with pixabay. I originally intended to try and make a volcano erupting. But liked what I had already done. The original picture. I have never seen anything like that before.
