Hi quilly, welcome to PSE&M! Glad to have you here.
There is an extensive discussion of such problems with Elements after the latest Windows 10 update. These problems seem to occur on computers with lots of RAM. How much RAM do you have? According to Michel (who is also an ACP on the Adobe forums), . . .
I think it will be ok to post this in the Elements editor section. From discussions on the Adobe Forums it appears that the April update of Windows 1 which will be installed in the next weeks does not create serious problem with most Adobe softwares... but that may not be so with Elements. forums.adobe.com/thread/2486258forums.adobe.com/thread/2423579forums.adobe.com/thread/2487356It's too soon to predict if this will hit a lot of Elements users (I am not in a hurry to test it myself ). Those memory problems seem to happen with configs with a lot of RAM. It may be prudent to keep an eye on the feedback about those issues in the next days. If individual users have been able to find a solution by editing the registry (dangerous), I hope Adobe and/or Microsoft will solve the problem. (Your comments will be appreciated.)

The solution (posted on the Adobe forums) seems to be editing the Registry. Michel has posted the link to that discussion in his thread. Follow the first link; see post (Correct Answer) by Armin Grewe.

Quilly -
In your first post you said you were having trouble reinstalling PSE 14. In your latest post you said: "I have a laptop with window 10 which as PSE 11 and PSE 14 on it and it works, OK"
Which is it? Does it work OK or not? Or do you have two computers? Help us understand.

PE 11 is working, it is PE 14 that is the problem. I have seen his problem posted on another site.

Major Major I have two computers one is the Laptop with widow 10, and PSE 14 and is working OK The other computer is a desk top which as PSE 11 and did have PSE 14 until the last update of Windows I got the following problems below. Could not complete your request because of a problem parsing the JPEG data Could not save as Peter.jpg because there is not enough memory(RAM) see PSE 14 Error-1 PSE 11 still works OK. But not the PSE 14 Then I uninstalled it with CCleaner, then run the cleaner and tried again, then I got PSE 14-error -2 I restarted and got the same thing again. I checked to see if there were any bits of the uninstalled program there were so I deleted them and tried again and got PSE 14 error -3. I tried to download the Adobe Support Advisor but the site said it has been discontinued. Re Sepiana posting, how do I find on the “HTML page, find the exit code, error code, and error text” next On Windows, go to C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\ PSE 11 is Programs (x86) which I found the Installers file, but it was for PSE 11. PSE 14 is not (86x) file and I could not find the installer file for PSE 14 Hope this make sense Quilly

But not the PSE 14 quilly,
These problems seem to occur on computers with lots of RAM (32 GB). There is an extensive discussion of such problems with PSE after the Windows 10 v1803 update in this THREAD I posted the link earlier in this discussion. I also have PSE 14 on Windows 10; I have only 16 GB RAM. No problems whatsoever after this update was installed. Michel also reported having no problems with his copy of PSE14.
Michel has summarized this issue (error messages/high RAM amount) in a thread on the Adobe Feedback forums. The "fix" for this is to edit the Registry.
PS Elements 14 Photo parsing error following Windows 10 Update
What you said before seems to confirm that these problems are not occurring when you don't have lots of RAM amount, i.e., on your laptop.
I have a laptop with window 10 which as PSE 14 on it and it works OK 4062 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory So, the crucial variable is . . . how much RAM do you have on your desktop (where you are getting error messages)?

quilly, sorry! I forgot to address this question. Try this . . .
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
2. Scroll down the page and you will find the ".log.gz" files for PSE 14.
3. Proceed with the instructions in Step 2.

Fotofrank On my laptop I have Windows 10 Pro / 2 chips of 4096MB = 8072MB Desktop Windows 10 Home / 2 chips of 2048 = 4096MB So, it is not Memory Fault because the one with the most memory is working OK Sepiana find the ".log.gz" files for PSE 14. I don’t seem to have one. The PSE14 was 32 bit see PSE14 Error - 4

quilly - let me clarify my point for you. I am saying your desktop may not have enough RAM to run the program. You seem to think its an issue with to much RAM. My MAC's have 16gig of RAM when elements opens and I have just under 15 gig available. This means the operating system is using a little over 1.1gig of RAM. With your Windows machine having only a total 4gb, Windows may be using enough of that RAM to put you under the required amount for Elements to run. This is why your laptop with 8gigs of ram works.
Your second and third entries from the above are GZ log files from the 26 & 27 of May.
