I downloaded a trial version of Photoshop Elements & premier 2018 I either do not know how to do it or I am disappointed that the slide time can not be adjusted, for example if you had one or more slides that you wanted to stay on screen longer because of a printed sign I don't see a way to do it. The other thing is the Themes as I see it you only have about 4 and I don't see where you could get more or make them your self. You can add music. Text is limited also. Just wanted to see if I was looking at this correctly.
Comments appreciated
Transformer.

Hi transformer,
I use Premiere Elements quite a bit to make videos. Did you download the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundle or PSE and Adobe Premiere? I haven't used Adobe Premiere.
With Premiere Elements (PRE) you can set slides to stay on as long as you like, animate them and do just about anything you like. But if you use the Themes or any presets you might be limited to what they can do. I never use the Themes. I always custom create my own videos.
There is truckloads of tutorials on the www for PRE. If you don't get any joy from them and/or the PRE forums, feel free to PM me and I will be happy to try to help. The mods here don't like members asking for help on PRE in the public forums.

Thanks Sepiana and Bailey!
Good advice as usual I will use it.
Bailey:

I downloaded the bundle. I love the slide show in organizer it is quick and easy but only has about 4 themes and no way I know to add others. and you can not set time for each slide. if it had those features it would be a dream.

No problem transformer. ... I love the slide show in organizer it is quick and easy but only has about 4 themes and no way I know to add others. and you can not set time for each slide. if it had those features it would be a dream. I have the PSE 14 and PRE 14 bundle. I have only ever just had a quick look at the Organizer's Slideshow feature but never really used it. My understanding of the purpose of the Organiser's Slideshow maker is to just be a pretty much quick and simple way of putting together a slideshow for users who are happy to simply choose one of the preset themes without much need for customisation. I wouldn't expect much flexibility in what you can do with the Organizer's preset themes. If you want to be able to fully customise your video/slideshow, I am afraid you'll have to just bite the bullet, especially if you haven't done much video creation/editing before, and learn to use Premiere Elements (PRE). Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve if you haven't done much video editing from scratch before but it will be well worth the effort if video/slideshow editing is something you are interested in. The good news is that there is truckloads of tutorials on the www on PRE. In PRE you can pretty much do whatever you like and depending on your imagination and skill in using PRE you can produce some amazing eye-popping videos/slideshows.

Thanks Sepiana . . . Good advice as usual I will use it. transformer, you are most welcome! Glad to help.
You were a member on the now-closed EV forum, weren’t you? Then, you may remember ATR, one of the Mods and a Premiere Elements expert. I haven't seen ATR on the Adobe forum lately but he keeps his blog updated. I searched around and found this post by Michel B, who is also an ACP on the Adobe forums. He confirms that ATR hasn't been there for a while. He and I are also on the same wavelength as to the quality of help provided by the Premiere Elements gurus on that forum.
In the Premiere Elements board, he is known as A.T. ROMANO. Something has happened in this board so that he is practically no longer there (last time logged in: 10 feb. 2016, last post in January). I think he has a blog, but I can't find it now. Edit: here it is: atr935.blogspot.fr/2014/01/pe-instant-movie-theme-outdoor.html Very expert advice by Premiere Gurus in the Premiere Elements forum (Steve Grisetti, Ann Benns...)
You will be in excellent hands with Grisetti and the other gurus on the Adobe Premiere Elements forum. Grisetti is also on the Lynda.com site teaching classes on Premiere Elements. Furthermore, he is the author of The Muvipix.com Guide to Adobe Premiere Elements 2018: The tools, and how to use them, to make movies on your personal computer.
Here is something else I forgot to list in my previous post. Adobe Premiere Elements Help (PDF format)

Like others, I was disappointed with the very limited slideshow features in PSE 13 and 14. I had become accustomed to the easy customization of length, transitions, pan and zoom, etc, in PSE 9, which I retained (fortunately). I admit I've not tried using PRE for slideshows. I saw Bailey's comments on the versatility of PRE in creating slideshows. I have no fear of video editing, but it is not as simple as PSE 9. Any comments on what I should NOT expect when using PRE that was available or possible in PSE prior to the "upgrades?" I hate looking for a feature that isn't there, so any help at all, even with one feature, will be appreciated. Thanks much.
