ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Summer here is for the birds! The orioles have been back for a while and have been busy raising families but take time out to feast on grape jelly and oranges. The cage is to keep out the racoons and squirrels who seem to be able to figure out other defensive methods but so far haven't figured out how to open the cage. Tony

Great day for sun bathing, and drying the washing. (Libby didn't stay out very long).

In summer people enjoy open air gatherings, for food or drink, on water or on dry land. Greenwich hosts a Latin American Food Festival and the River Thames is a good venue for a "mini booze cruise". Both events, I have to say, accompanied by the obligatory ear-splitting music also typical of summer.

I have never seen one of these moths before although looking it up, I see they are common. I was afraid he would fly away before I got my camera but now it's an hour later and he is still on our balcony. Some onfo from google:

You caught this oriole in the action. Bright colors, great DOF!

Graduations are a sure sign that summer is here: Helen, I really like the angle you used to take this shot. Very creative! It is not the "usual" graduation image.

Out of hibernation and working on the homestead Judy, what would summer be without a busy beaver? Great shot! Perfect for this theme.
