That looks wonderful, Margaret! I am wondering if Bailey's issue might be related to the brush he is using. For example, I have some powder brushes that even at 100% opacity do not evenly stamp at 100%. I didn't work on this challenge yet but tested a couple of my powder brushes.....I imagine the explosion brushes might work the same way.

Helen in an earlier post I mentioned the brush issue in my response to Bailey. What you also have to keep in mind is the photo you are using for the project. If you stamp your brush and it’s on a particularly light part of the photo it won’t show up as clearly as if you had stamped on a darker part of the photo - I hope that makes sense!

Thank you for your kind words, Lillias. I did eventually enjoy myself.
One thing I can't work out though. 9. Choose a flower brush, size it and change its orientation to suit what you want to do. Stamp your brush into the corners of the rectangular box.
How on earth do I change the orientation of the brush? I eventually put two different ones so they were situated correctly.

How on earth do I change the orientation of the brush? See my screen shots below whippet. When you choose a brush you will see the tools for the brushes. If you click on the Brush Settings outlined in red in the first screen shot that will bring up the next box you see. You can adjust the brush orientation by changing the angle of the brush. Just drag the circle around to the angle you want the brush to show.

Sorry, Lillias. I didn't realize you had already explained the same thing in your response to Bailey. This is a wonderful tut......and like Rita I couldn't stop with just one.

Sorry, Lillias. I didn't realize you had already explained the same thing in your response to Bailey. Not a problem Helen...
Thanks for joining in the challenge. Nice examples, I like them both. Cape Porpoise looks like a lovely place.

Love your red squirrel Judy and your double framing. Gives a nice effect.

And look at the gleam in his eye.
Thanks for the explanation, Lillias. I must admit that I have never been into that panel. (Pity there isn't a blushing smile.)
