Thanks Wayne for posting the link. Am in the area with rather limited access to the internet so glad you were able to find the article which I do recall reading in the Globe. First visited the memorial about 10 years ago and it is an amazing oasis in the forest down a very rough road. It has been reverting to nature over the last few years but there are signs it’s still being cared for.

Boy framed by aging, soon-to-be-dead leaves. Clive, great finding! I really like the natural framing effect of the leaves. Very interesting contrast -- boy (youth) vs leaves (aging).

Sitting on a bench by a lake yesterday and noticed a movement in the ground and amazingly, framed in the sand, was a newly hatched baby turtle emerging into the sunlight for the first time. As we watched several more emerged before we left them in peace to hopefully survive the journey to the water. And a more conventional framed picture. The steps up to the Dyers Memorial built by a Clifton Dyer in memory of his wife. Tony Tony,
First image -- This takes top honors. I keep going back again and again to look at it. What a shot! Great job capturing such a special moment in the life of that baby turtle!
Second image -- Great framed composition! The leading lines (steps, trees) and the play of light/shadows are a bonus. Beautiful!

Red amur maple leaves framed by yellow leaves in the background. In our back yard, Monday October 1 ( OCTOBER?!?!? Seriously? ) For you camera geeks, this was shot at ISO 5,000. (5k). Trying a new technique with the A7III and it is a charm. Clive

My son and I started walking the Norfolk Coast Path this weekend and I had the unexpected good fortune to grab this shot of Hunstanton lighthouse framed by a garden feature in the Esplanade Gardens.

Brenda, I love this kind of framing. Great composition -- a window to the lighthouse. Very effective!
