jackscrap , I like how captured the sun rising through the trees. It makes the trees stand out. Great natural lighting!

Lots of bare branches here! It's been a rather dull and foggy week so a little bit of colour on a tree did attract my attention during a walk in the forest even if it was only fungus and moss on a broken tree branch. Looking forward to seeing the sun again - maybe at the weekend? Tony Tony, this is the kind of image I keep going back to. Great composition! And the fungus/moss details? Amazing!

I added a false colorization of the sky using a gradient layer.

I added a false colorization of the sky using a gradient layer. Tom, your post-processing using a gradient resulted in a very unique image. It highlights the "New Day" angle.

Avenue of trees in our local park, looking very bare in the midst of winter.

Dennis, great composition! I love the leading lines created by the trees and the walking path. The portrait orientation was the perfect choice for this image.
