Couldn't resist following the tutorial and then adding a bit of colour back from the original - about 20% in this case. A nice and quick sketch effect. Tony

- Used the starter image for EP #182 - Applied an Adobe Paper texture (Hampton, Multiply blending mode, Opacity 75%). - Applied the Text and Border Overlay effect introduced in PSE 2019 (Guided Edit>Special Edits).

They have a very different look but both are fantastic, Pete! Each one seems to be the perfect choice for the picture you used. If I try to visualize the opposite approach on each picture I feel like they wouldn't look as good. Don't know if you can follow what I mean. Always love seeing your sketch work. HUGE mistake with the comment above Tpgettys and PeteB......Love your Ruth Bader Ginsburg sketch, Tom......and your bugler, Pete!

..Love your Ruth Bader Ginsburg sketch, Tom
Thank you Helen. I found that the while the steps to get to the basic B&W rendering were quick and easy, the subsequent steps of hand drawing/erasing are where the secret sauce is. It took some time, but it was well spent I think! I am quite happy with the results overall.

One more - I'm not into that clever hand drawing secret sauce so I just did the basics and took it into ON1 for some touch-ups and a border. Tony
