Judy, very original! The result was an intriguing image -- minimalist, abstract, dream-like.
Do you mind sharing how you created the fog? I am curious.

2 very different moods. BTW - some days are just like that. kdcintx, very creative approach -- two moody images! Great choice of techniques to convey such different (opposite?) moods. Very clever!

Nik Collection - Colorefex pro4 - fog. And then I did a gradient filter dark to light from the bottom up.

whippet , this is so funny! Great choice of images for the "jammed door" scenario.

Looks like a stormy night. Bob, great job creating this effect. The stormy night looks very "real". I really like how you added the light beacon. How did you do it?

Thanks Sepiana, I followed a YouTube video by Brendan Wiiliams. youtu.be/h2z6hvfISqUBecause I only have Elements I couldn't follow all the steps using layer groups so I needed to repeat the steps for each beam. By by the way I neglected to acknowledge Pixabay for the background image.

If you want to follow this tutorial using layer groups, you can run an action to group/ungroup layers created by dconsc. You can find the .atn files in . . .
