I need to solve a little problem. I thought nobody had commented on my question because I didn't receive any email notifications, which is what usually happens. So I went directly to my thread and I now see more than half a dozen helping comments. I went to my profile and the notification page - as far as I can recall I hadn't changed anything there. But just to be sure... please tell me which choices would ensure getting email notifications when someone comments on my thread. |

But it's already checked for instant notification. Did I already have it checked when you looked at it? Or did you check it? At any rate I didn't receive an email notifying your most recent post.
The mystery deepens....

I didn't make any changes. Even we, Administrators, cannot see your Notification settings.
It looks like there is a problem with notification e-mails. I haven't received any since yesterday although everything is the way I had set (saved) in my profile.
UPDATE:
I have just checked with ProBoards Support. They confirmed they are having a problem; this began over the weekend. They are working on it and hope to have a solution soon.

Thanks, Sepiana. With your help I'm sure they'll get it fixed! By the way, this part of my message was poorly worded:
I didn't receive any email notifications, which is what usually happens. What usually happens is that I am notified, that's what I meant to say. But I guess you understood my crazy syntax! Paul |

Paul, ProBoards Support came through; the problem has been solved. As of this writing, notification e-mails are up and running again.
