Okay not technically a rocket, but a jet. Jet engines and rockets work on the same principle. The main difference between them is that jets get the oxygen to burn fuel from the air and rockets carry their own oxygen, which allows them to operate in space.May 28, 2018 flying high overhead (of course) at about 10 km high. 400-mm lens and cropped hard. Perhaps someone has a shot of an actual space rocket, so I won't suggest a new item.  |

Our granddogs last summer boating! Harvey (middle) was small at the time..not so much now. Oops ... and now how about a cat.
