Thanks Major Major. Think I might have posted this here before. Oops. It was a wonderful moment and rather serendipitous...aren't they all? We'd photographed Courthouse Butte earlier in the day because there were cool wet patterns on it from the rain. We were staying in a rental house about 3 km away and I was preparing dinner around 6 PM and looked out the kitchen window and the sun was shining on the rocks. Grabbed my gear and broke a few moving traffic laws to get back to the same spot where we were at earlier. Set up on a tripod and starting taking photos of the cosmic light on the butte. And then the rainbow appeared for 2 or 3 minutes. It was magical. And then it was gone. Thanks Clive

Let's see a wind mill.

Would a modern day one be acceptable?
This has been cropped and enlarged.
Has anyone found a wheel off a bike?

Here's a wheel but it's still on the bike although I don't think the bike will be going too far! Hope that counts. I'd like to see a volcano - active or extinct Tony

Los Angeles City Hall in the background.
Showing LA to out-of-town company in a blazing heat wave. Makes me think of ice cream.

Was going through all my Shutterfly pictures looking for an animal and got caught up looking at pictures of my grandkids from when they were little. Had fun sending them to the kids...but finally found this lion! How about a real lion?

Very cool mountain lion photo Peter. Thanks! I've seen only one in over 60 years going to the mountains and foothills; however, captured one on a trail camera at our summer place in 2016. They are very reclusive and rarely seen here although populations are high. Mountain lions like venison. Hey, they have to eat too. Okay then, how about seeing pine, spruce or fir cone up close and personal?

Just taken this in my garden for you, Clive.
Edit. Oops, didn't take it - up close & personal.
I am thinking of going camping. Can anyone loan me a tent?

Couldn't find a picture of the tent we used to camp in a long time ago - but we did stay in a yurt more recently which is rather more comfortable version of a tent for us seniors! Here's what the inside looked like, If that's an acceptable tent then how about a picture of a caravan, travel trailer, camper van - the name changes depending on where you live Tony

Once upon a time this is what travelling trailers looked like. Not that this one was going anywhere any more. We rented it on vacation in 1955 by a lake in Wisconsin.
Oops, almost forgot. How about a home-made work of art?
