"...and prior." Fortress of Louisbourg, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. The original settlement was made in 1713 ... The British continued to have a garrison at Louisbourg until 1768. Photo taken June 22, 2011. Okay then, we need (hmmmmm) to see an Irish-knit sweater.

Will you be satisfied with spinning the wool?

Sure Peter. All good. You pick the next scavenger item then. Not sure why an Irish-knit sweater waddled into my brain. I do own one my mother knit for me in about 1966 or so...still fits...stretched a lot I guess. Ha! Clive

Scottish is famous, but I had never heard of Irish knitting wool. I had to go to Canada to learn about what is on my own doorstep.

A Luau at the Hawaiian Village in Honolulu. Lots of things to eat, most of them indigestible, but interesting.
I'd like to see an old-fashioned toy without robotics

Nice toy - no ELECTRONICS at all staying with the theme - how about a fancy child's bicycle or tricycle

Two non-typical trikes behind the quad...circa 2002. The kids here are now about 22 and 19. Okay then, a fishing rod.

If you click on the image to enlarge it you will see an interesint effect I would like to see a train Nice use of a multi-fame gif Sydney It's a pity only the first frame is displayed in the posted "thumbnail" and the gif is played only when enlarged Give me a few minutes to think of a new item.

ok, what about an old fashioned non-motorised in any way lawn mower.
"Scavenger hunt" to me means looking for not necessarily every day items, so I hope this one is not too difficult.

non-motorised in any way lawn mower. Shoot Bailey, I own a push reel mower, but it is at our summer place.

No problem Clive. That is exactly what I am hoping for.
Hopefully someone else has one in their shed or knows someone who has one.
If Buckskin is still around I would be surprised if he hasn't one somewhere.

OK, I can see this one might be a little too hard.
To kick start this thread again, how about another option in addition to the non-motorised lawn mower - poached eggs on toast.
