Duplicated the original and changed duplicate to B&W. Placed Texture above that and applied an Overlay blend mode Made a selection of the horse and rider to which I applied a warming filter then applied a photocopy effect. Used the Colour Burn blend mode on the photocopy effect. Applied a grunge frame to the overall page and inverted it to white. Applied a shadow frame . Made a white frame and used a torn edge brush for the bottom part of the frame. Credits: Linen Texture from 2 Lil’ Owls Torn edge Brush by myjupiterstar

I tried to match the white portion of my image to the Forum white and on my monitor it looks exactly the same. Please tell me if this is so for you, or if I could have saved myself the trouble.

fotofrank , this is a very interesting effect; it has a nostalgic (old West) feeling. I really like it. Which Topaz Studio preset did you use?

Lillias , nicely done! Interesting combo of techniques. The OBB effect is a bonus -- it adds a sense of motion to the horse/rider.

ritage , this is very clever indeed! You took the OOB effect to another level and did it well. Double the countryside fun!

- Created the composite with a photo I took at Lake Powel, UT. - Ran the file through ON1 Photo RAW (Dirty Boots preset). - Applied a texture by Kim Deslandes (Chardonnay, Multiply blending mode, 75% Opacity). - Applied a Landscape Enhance texture by Merek Davis (May, Multiply blending mode, 75% Opacity). - Created the triptych with Panel Effects by Jason P. Odell. - Applied the Texturizer filter (Sandstone).

PeteB , you are an OOB Master! It is not easy to create this kind of effect (with the OOB going upwards, the frame flat on the "ground). Well done!

My preset is a custom one I made - it is a combination antique amber and old wester. Assisted by a little masking.
