Helen - I think it looks quite cool. It may not be how you were thinking it should look, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. I like it.

Thanks, Janice. Maybe it will grow on me. Will be interested in what she thinks.

Looks ok to me
Perhaps another option might be to place the movements "horizontally" along the beam. You might have to overlap them a bit though. Can you extend the beam by cloning maybe?
Just my 2c worth.

Looks great to me too Helen. I think she will love it...as Clive says, it gives a real sense of action.

Helen, nice! I do not have a clue to which extent it can be considered realistic, although it may not matter at all. I agree that it gives the sense of action and moves. I would add that it also renders strength, precision, determination and grace. As a whole it kind of creates a new shape of its own. The exercise was certainly worth the effort.

Helen, that is a very elegant solution to the task you set yourself. Love it and I may use the basic idea sometime if you don't mind

Thanks fauxtoto and Rita......although it's probably hard to tell I did try to line up the individual shots somewhat like you proposed, Rita. I also used a bit of motion blur as you suggested and the screen mode as suggested by Sepiana. Take the basic idea and fly with it, Rita......would love to see what you come up with.

Even if you're not entirely happy with it, I bet you've learned a lot. I like it! It conveys strength and movement.
