I especially like the tonal range you achieved with your image and the shadow of the tree on the left, Judy.
Peter, removing the color (garish) from the image has left us to contemplate the glass and its reflection. I would say you made a good choice. Thanks for adding On1 to the mix of software that can be used for BW. I can see why you were attracted to the second building with its reflection of the clouds. It looks like the lighting conditions were a challenge to work with.

A point of clarification; I used the color enhancer filter below the bw filter and intentionally made the colors garish in order to accentuate the reflection. color enhancer before bw

Thanks Pete, I had misunderstood what you meant. And I certainly agree that the original colors didn't work.

I so miss wing windows. '56 Chevy at a car show last weekend, shot for the theme. Converted to B&W in Adobe Camera Raw with a tiny bit of burning in Photoshop. Thanks for the theme Helen!

One more window - in need of a bit of attention! Another conversion done in ON1 Raw Tony

Tony, I should say! The toning you used works well with the old wood. Interestingly enough the skewed perspective doesn't seem to bother me in this image, perhaps because there is no foreground.

Took this while in Florida this month for our granddaughter's gymnastics competition and forgot all about it! Now that her book is finished and before the month ends here's another window shot. Converted with SE 2. Always say I'm going to try something different for conversion but then end up going back to what I'm comfortable with!

A nice view from a window (but the window is integral to the image I think, hence fits the theme). Helicopter flight over the Jostedal glacier range in Norway. My usual processing in Lightroom then Silver Efex 2, standard presets. Jostedal glacier from helicopter by AlexR!, on Flickr
