- Blending mode used -- Color, 50% Opacity. - Created the background with a texture by Karen Waters Art (Wall Flower). - Created the border effect with ON1 Photo RAW (Antique Rounded). - Image source: Pixabay.

A very neat way of creating a sketch effect with lots of possibilities - I pretty much followed the method except I did a black and white conversion rather than just desaturate and made a few extra tweaks when the image was back in Lightroom. Now have to look for more images to try this on. Tony

Yikes! So much creative work being done here!
I really like your OOB Lillias, and Tony your image has a very different "feel" because of the alterations you made. Sepiana's several experiments reveal many other possibilities.

Just to be different I changed the Levels adjustment layer Blend mode to Color Burn instead of Multiple and the last layer to Subtract instead of Color and came up with this: An interesting plant! Tony

Followed the Tut. Created a composite layer and used a levels adjustment. Images from Pexels and clipartpng, kit - On The Wild Side by Rosie’s Designs.

Thanks to Tom for posting this interesting tutorial. I used the keystrokes distillation of steps with a few adjustments to opacities and blending modes. Then added a gradient to the sky and applied a texturizer filter (sandstone) Downtown San Francisco skyline:

After I created the sketch, ran Neat Image (for noise) and then applied Poster Edges. Added a duplicate of the color image and changed blend mode to darken.
