Who knew – apparently there is a flower for each birth month so what about if we do a page for our own particular birth flower. Got this same list of monthly birth flowers from a few different sites I looked at so this is what I'm going with.
No rush…interpet the challenge as you see fit.
January – Carnation February – Violet or Primrose March – Daffodil or Jonquil April – Daisy or Sweet Pea May – Lily of the Valley June – Rose or Honeysuckle July – Larkspur August – Gladiolus or Poppy September – Aster October – Marigold or Cosmos November – Chrysanthemum December – Narcissus or Holly

This sounds like fun, Lillias. It looks like I am going to need to try my hand at using stock images to create my page so this will be a new approach to creating a page for me.

Beautiful whippet. Love the heart shape with the flowers. Lily of the Valley was my mum's favourite perfume...

Thanks for taking part in the challenge Helen. So appreciated and a lovely page too. I love Neil Diamond and just had to go on YouTube and listen to this one. Nice use of the brayered block mask and I see you have used the partial frame...looking good...

My husband loves Neil Diamond......so we have a few of his CD's.
I love the partial frame.....you can expect that to show up frequently. Glad you like my attempt.

Thank you.
I have only just remembered, I was going to put a May calendar on. I forgot.
Nobody knows whether the saying means the month, or the blossom.

Nobody knows whether the saying means the month, or the blossom. My mum always used to use that quote to tell us never to take off our warm winter clothing till May (as in the month) be over. I’ve never thought of it in any other way. Especially as growing up our winters were always really quite cold and could last well into May!!!

Wow there are some lovely pages here. It seems strange to me now to think of FEBRUARY as a cold month leading into spring as it is the hottest month here in Australia .... though I spent Spent most of my life inYorkshire so i remember it well. Anyway here are my primroses The quote is from Patience Strong, photos from Pixabay and supplies from Anna Aspnes
