Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
I am assigning no theme this week. It is your turn! Pick a theme which appeals to you, grab your camera, and capture something which will be an interpretation of the theme you chose. Also, let us know what your theme is and how your image relates to it. Have fun!

My theme is "Weather", and about 20 minutes after I shot the images making up this pano, the heavens opened and there was a short, but intense rainstorm. Shortly after I arrived home, the sun came out! agg i.ibb.co/BgQ0dVQ/IMG-2671-Pano-Luminar3-edit.jpg

Staying with the weather theme...wind clouds at night. On Saturday night, the moon was still full and well after dark washed the landscape. It was also windy and the moon lighted stacked lenticular clouds (Chinook wind clouds.) The Big Dipper is above the cloud stack. Photographed at 9:41 PM Saturday Sept 14. 6 seconds, F3.2 and ISO 1,000.

Since the moon was just full, I'll go with a moon theme. Moonrise two days after full: Sunday September 15.

Neat looking clouds, Clive, and a beautiful moon. We didn't get to see the full moon here this month, because the weather was being typically "Wet Coast". AGG

Curiously no-one last week did L is for Landscape so I'll do it this week. Could also be P is for Panorama although I finished up doing a panorama crop on just one frame. Taken today in Algonquin Provincial Park in a spot where in the past we've seen bears and moose but today there was just one heron and they were hiding behind that big rock. Tony

One more L - Leaves. The colour change here in Algonquin Park is only reported to be 10% today but there are some very colourful maples to be found like this one: Tony

My theme is Democracy. Concurrent with millions of people taking part in the Global Climate Strike this lone protester stood silently in the rain, holding her sign above her head, hoping to bring a change to border family-separation practices.

My theme was supposed to be - Playtime in the park. But none of the dogs wanted to oblige me by having a run around. Taken today at the dog play field at Preston Park. (I didn't even get a picture of my own girls).

Shortly after I arrived home, the sun came out! agg Angela, great weather capture -- menacing clouds, a storm brewing. Perfect for a panorama. A very dramatic image!

Staying with the weather theme...wind clouds at night. Clive, definitely not the kind of clouds we get around here. Great job capturing the motion of these Chinook wind clouds. Since the moon was just full, I'll go with a moon theme. This moon shot is a classic. Simply beautiful! It looks like a painting.

Tony Tony, great composition -- with the lake (river?) flowing in S-lines diagonally across the frame and the water reflections. Very sharp and colorful image!

Bill, B&W processing was just perfect for the theme you chose. Great example of social documentary photography. I love it!
