This is also a bldg with glass and steam stacks, stairways and other things you can match. It is part of the brand new $430 million CAD Cavendish french fry plant in Lethbridge that opened two weeks ago. It will process 300,000 tons of raw potatoes annually. Two other french fry plants are also within 30 minutes of our house. In all, they process around 700,000 to 800,000 tons of potatoes every year that are shipped all over the world but mainly to the USA, Canada and Japan. Spuds are big deal here.  |
