Oops, I didn't see yours, Peter. But, still with water. The River Tees Barrage - and bridge.

I know this is a game but I have to say folks you are showing some wonderful photos and all I need to do is sit back and enjoy them. Thank you all for sharing them with us. I'm seeing parts of the world I would never see otherwise.

I have to agree with Lillias, there have been some spectacular scenery from everyone's travels. This was taken in FNQ (Far north Queensland, Australia), in the beautiful rainforests near Cairns. i.ibb.co/Bc0vVhD/waterfall.jpg

Lillias. Nice comment. It is quite fun to find old photos and see the "matches" posted by everyone. Clive

I heartily agree with the three of you. It is interesting to see the place names, too. This is Cod Beck Reservoir - North Yorkshire.
Drat it. Pipped to the post again.

Changing gears, but still water. Extratropical Storm Alberto, June 2006 somewhere in Newfoundland. The waves were so cool that locals were coming out to watch them.

I can match the blue tones of those gorgeous mountains with the shimmering blue of Sydney harbour and the Tasman Sea. I took this photo yesterday atop Sydney Tower - the visibility was unreal.
