Telephone wires near my house. This usually hangs on the inside of a window. All wire, except for the ornaments. Some of which are beach glass. whippet, my favorite is the second image. Great idea -- going for a portrait orientation and zooming in. It brings up all the details of this art work.

Grape vines are grown on wire supports. Here are two rows of grapes just about ready for harvesting - and most likely ending up in a 2019 vintage bottle of wine. Taken today on a tour around the Niagara vineyards. Tony Tony, this image has your trademark -- colorful, sharp, detailed, and . . . displaying symmetry.

Wires twist into cables which hold and transport the Portland Aerial Tram. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, you delivered it again. Great composition and beautiful tones!

Helen, thinking out of the box! Nice composition in B&W. I like its simplicity.

It's the time of the year here when birds love to meet up on wires to discuss when they are going to head south Tony Tony, very geometric -- vertical, horizontal, diagonal lines, and . . . birds (curvy lines?). This could be a poster for Hitchcock's The Birds.

The nasty type of wire. Seen along the less picturesque stretches of the Thames Path east of the City. The second shot I included because I thought it had something abstract about it. Perhaps I will offer it to Tate Modern! Brenda Brenda, I love the mood of both images; it goes with the type of wire. The second image is a great example of "abstract". It deserves a place on the wall.
