Living in the Sonoran Desert doesn't provide much chance for interesting weather images. Today it was raining pretty hard - I thought the drops of water on this citrus fruit was a good example of unusual weather here. Shot with an iPhone 11, processed in On1  |

A slightly different take on the weather - a shot of our local weather radar station when there was weather approaching. Converted in Lightroom using one of the B&W presets but then slightly modifying the B&W using the split toning sliders. A technique I ran across in a Matt Kloskowsi video I watched recently.  Tony |

Like the way your bridge fades into the fog, Pete. Often when I am out driving to take a picture of fog I can see it up ahead but the closer I get it disappears. You found a perfect spot that illustrates what I have experienced.
Pete, interesting to see your desert rain droplets on the fruit.....works well for this challenge.
Good idea, Tony. Like the partial silhouette against the backdrop of the clouds.
I think I might like to see us experiment with split-toning the next time I host the B/W challenge.

Well I guess -17°C and mist can be classed as weather. Went to the river valley today....chilly. Steam coming off the river and the air was misty/foggy all over. Phantom Canada geese, chilling at the river.  |
