This tutorial is taken from a tutorial made originally by Jen White of Digital Scrapper and all credit for it belongs to her.
I have condensed it somewhat as follows and trust that you will enjoy it.
So let’s start.
1. Open a new document. Scrappers usually choose 12” x 12” with a white background.
Our aim here is to create a title for our page/card so...
2. Choose a font
As per the original tutorial I chose the font called ‘Old Printing Press’ ...if you were doing a Christmas Card a nice font for that is ‘Kingthings Christmas 2’ and both are available free from Dafont.com.

The idea here is to take text and split it across the middle inserting different text into the split.

3. On your document - Type the main title for your page - choose a fairly large size for the font - I chose 124pts for mine and this can be resized/adjusted to suit your page by using the transform tool.
4. Now choose the rectangular marquee tool and draw out a slim rectangle through the centre of the title you have just created. To reposition the rectangle while dragging press the space bar.
Make sure the rectangle extends well beyond either end of the title as per example number 1.

5. Make sure the Title layer is the active layer in the layers panel and holding down alt/opt click on the Add Layer Mask icon at the top of the layers panel. Your text should now resemble example number 2.
6. Create a new layer and choose a short small font. I used Orator Std at 27pts.
Hold down the Shift key and click on the empty space and type the rest of your title.
To reposition the font before committing the changes press and hold the Ctrl/Cmd key then click to commit the changes. See example 3.

7. It looks nicer if the two parts of the title are the same length. Do this using the transform tool. Drag the handles of the bounding box slightly to transform the secondary title.
Note: For those who have PSE 2019 onwards a new text tool ‘tracking feature’ was introduced which allows you to stretch the text by dint of changing the amount of the tracking...just make sure the layer you want to change is the active layer and change the number in the tracking box to be found in the text tools.

And here is how I used this myself...Have fun and I hope you enjoy the tutorial.
