I haven’t seen clouds for days. No sun just solid dull skies ☹️

Can't keep up with Clive but the clouds this morning just had to be taken as there was a weather system approaching with snow on the way. Here's one of the shots - the sun was behind one of those dark clouds - exposed for the sky and then bumped up the foreground in Lightroom. B&W conversion done using an LR Profile. It's now completely clouded over and snowing! Tony

I think I'll be leaving the B&W to those who know what they're doing....meanwhile here are some drive-by clouds to ponder upon.

tonyw.......glad you took the time to capture those....it certainly seems to be a mix of different cloud formations. I really like the old church that you included in your shot as well. jackscrap.....looking at your first submission, I'd say you are a quick study! The clouds definitely attract our attention and you have a nice range of tones in your image. Keep at it, girl!

Very windy here today and some interesting cloud formations..... Neat how conversion can make somewhat-benign clouds look angry. Nice. Jacki, I'd like to be on a Fiji plane right now.

live.staticflickr.com/65535/49363350432_aa793329d0_o.jpgOups, forgot the processing indications. I opened in LR6 a color version previously cropped and processed in PSE ACR. Then, in LR6 : converted into B&W in the HSL/COLOR/B&W panel; global tweaks in the basic panel; for the clouds, I mostly used the tone curve panel; no graduated filter; a little bit of vignette in the effect panel. (A better workflow would have been to start from scratch in LR and first exhaust its possibilities).

Went out scouting for a nice foreground to capture the decade's first full moon (Fri 1/10) and had some nice clouds for this challenge ...

When I first looked I thought that was a beach scene, Maurice.......then I saw the silhouetted figures against the snow. Lovely.
I agree Pete....some beautifully textured clouds and a nice range of tones.
