Got me thinking this morning..... Thought black and white emphasized the crusty old feeling of these boots. Helen, good thinking! They are indeed two of a kind. Nicely done.

Two sets of tracks in the snow: coming and going. January 13, 2020 Two house finches at the front yard feeders..shot through a window. January 13, 2020. Clive, two completely different subjects, yet two of a kind. I particularly like the second shot for its composition and DOF.

I think I've used these two metal sculptures before but they were the couple who gave their mansion and attached golf course to the town to be used as a hospital back in 1910 and it still is a hospital today (as is the golf course). Converted to black and white as the paint is peeling so they look slightly better without colour. Currently the hospital is being renovated and upgraded so hope they remember to give this couple a fresh coat of paint! Tony, definitely one-of-a-kind couple. Great job capturing their "deterioration". They do need a fresh coat of paint; hopefully they will get it. I don't think you used this subject before. I remember the hospital though; it was your entry for WPC 206 - Health and Health Care.

kdcintx , great thinking out of the box -- Clemson Tigers and LSU Tigers. It is a very clever interpretation of this theme. (BTW, I can see more than one subject in your shot which qualifies for "two of a kind".)

whippet , you nailed this theme! Both shots captured two-of-a-kind subjects. Well done!

There was a let-up in the wild weather yesterday, so I was able to get out and capture a shot of the this pair of Canada Geese. Dennis Dennis, this image made me smile. They seem to be posing for your camera (and both with a similar "posture"). Perfect timing = a great shot!

Fauxtoto , I really like the simplistic composition of your two shots. Perfect example of when less is more. Well done!

Here's my contribution. Two in this photo, but if you look closely you can see more than a dozen more on the horizon, about 15 miles away. Rick, great finding! I like how you put the spotlight on two of the wind turbines while at the same time including the ones in the background. Very original composition!

Two pieces of sculpture, yet they make a single artwork - a "Reclining Figure" by Henry Moore. Seen this morning at Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath. A pair of doors to an old Public Baths. But look closely at the writing above each door and you will see how some men were merely "men" and others were "gents", two different kinds of human beings! Brenda Brenda, not just one but two subjects which are "two of a kind". I particularly like the first shot. (I am a big fan of Henry Moore’s work – abstract, monumental sculptures.) As usual, another job well done! BTW, "men" vs "gents"/two different kinds of human beings . . . hilarious.

After a week of rain the waters finally came back to Hippo Hole. These two seemed pleased. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, this takes top honors! Where did you find these two? What a shot and what a subject! Would you be kind enough to share the "history" behind the Hippo Hole?

Bill, this takes top honors! Where did you find these two? What a shot and what a subject! Would you be kind enough to share the "history" behind the Hippo Hole? Ha. I wish there was a story, it's just an indentation in a large rock that always fills up after a rain. I knew I wanted to use the hippos, so it just seemed to fit. Thanks again for the theme, and for taking the time to comment!
