How do I turn off the welcome screen so it opens to the editor every time? PSE 2020

Tina, I believe you are on Windows. If so, . . .
1. Navigate the path below to the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe file.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2020\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
2. Right-click on the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe file.
3. Select . . . Send to>Desktop (create shortcut).
