I use Elements 13 and have been trying to desaturate just the background of an image while keeping the color of the subject in the foreground. I have include a image that I would like to retain the color of the egrets (white), the bill (yellow) and the eye area (green). All else I would like to lose the color and darken to almost a black. Is that possible to include the background that shows thru the filigree of the feathers? Thanks
