Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTE This week's theme was suggested by tonyw . (Thanks, Tony!) This is what this theme is all about in his own words.
You have a lot of leeway. You can shoot your subject:- While looking up at it. - While looking down at it. - At eye level with it. - Etc., etc.

A few years ago I had an assignment to take pictures at a dog or cat's eye level. When I saw this topic, I decided I would once again take a picture from that viewpoint. Image was converted to B/W in NIK SE 2

Shopping carts from above. And a reminder to me to not just look down for things. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Both of the above posts are excellent. I'm struggling a bit with this one. I've taken photos over the years from just about every angle imaginable, so finding something that I feel is different is challenging me. I'll keep looking though...

After posting above, I went for a drive, and decided that this fits the topic in a different way. A cornfield, in a way that I have never seen one photographed, after harvest and before spring planting.

That's really strange Rick. I too was driving past a combined corn field this afternoon and had exactly the same thought and got the camera out. It was a gloomy day so when I came to process the result I decided to go black and white. Tony

Around here they are mostly dryland corn, planted in sandy soil with no irrigation, wholly dependent on what little falls from the sky. On a good year, that's 2 ears per stalk. Gloomy flat sky here too, so I cropped it more panoramic to eliminate that.

I don't remember having ever seen a cornfield shot from this viewpoint. Beautiful image!
