I didn't have to look very far to find suitable curves today - which was fortunate, as it is bitterly cold outside. Dennis Dennis, suitable curves indeed. What a beautiful chair! Great composition technique -- all eyes on the chair. |

I had the same thought as Dennis and decided to look for curves inside - and found some curvaceous wooden objects. First a rather nicely carved piece of wood (I watched it being carved a few years back). I took the shot against a white background and did a "sky replacement" with one of my old skies which makes it look a lot bigger than it really is! Second is a very curvy wooden sculpture and some curvy shadows to match Thanks for the theme Billz Tony Tony, two great findings of man-made curves. I particularly like the second shot with curvy shadows to match. Great capture! |

Out for a drive on the first sunny day in a while and spotted these curves in a farmers field .. decided to try black and white for these curves. Tony Tony, beautiful image -- great composition, amazing details. Place it on a wall! |

I've been busy seeking Curves. Found a couple at my in-law's farm. This is an old corral gate: And this is a grain bin. The curve looking up at the sky, and the gentle 3-D curves of the ribs in the metal. Rick, your "seeking" paid off. My favorite one is the second shot -- simplistic composition + negative space. Simply beautiful! |

I found some animal tracks in the snow today that curve. Judy, you think and see as a photographer. Very original interpretation of Curves. This shot takes top honors! |
