Helen, nice composite. It looks very natural (real). The little angel seems to be "at home".

Word Art from ‘If I had wings’ by G&T Designs Watercolour BG Paper by Dianadkn from Brusheezy. I extracted the angel and converted to B&W. Then used the Glowing Edges filter and inverted that for the finished result.

Frank, great job! I really like this colorful version. How did you colorize the wings? I can't tell which technique you used.

Rita, you never cease to surprise me. I really like the effect on the wings; they look translucent. Will you please share your recipe?

- Created the background with a texture by Skeletalmess. (Clouds). - Applied Topaz Glow (Dye Cast). - Applied a texture by Deluzion (Dirty Blue Oilcloth, Soft Light blending mode, 100% Opacity). - Applied a Clear Frame layer style by Jodi Frye.

The Chrome Gradient with a Blend mode of difference on the Gradient Tool. After drawing the gradient 30+ times in all different direction, you get this Apply a blur and apply it to the wings using a layer mask and color blend mode.

Used a mask to blend the images For the light rays I rendered Clouds, radial blur at 100% then sharpened and used the Soft Light blend mode.

Rita, you never cease to surprise me. I really like the effect on the wings; they look translucent. Will you please share your recipe? Sepiana, I reduced Opacity to about 50% so that the texture applied to the background would show through uninterrupted.

Frank, thanks so much for answering my question about how you colorized the little angel's wings. Very clever take on this technique! I will definitely use it in future projects. (So far, I have used it only to create "gradient art".)
