Used the initial set of instructions, but added a couple of textures and masks.

I started with the original version but changed the blend mode of the masked image to hard light and then added a duplicate of the image with the blend mode set to overlay so finished up with these layers (the merged layers were tweaked in ON1 and a border added). Rust was from textures.com - forge from my collection. Lots of possibilities! Thanks for the challenge Tony

So many possibilities! So much fun! So addictive! - Followed the original tutorial. - Created a texture with Filter Forge (Metal Panels). - Applied the High Pass filter. - Applied a Color Lookup adjustment layer by Blake Rudis (Vintage Cyan Washed). - Created the frame effect with a Bevel layer style (Wacky Metallic).

Rust was from textures.com Tony, thanks for this information! I added this site to our Textures thread and gave credit where credit is due.

It is great to see all of the variations on this challenge. They keep getting better.
My original intent was to age a highway sign. We have come along way from that.
Again Great work everyone!

Frank, you are making me try things I otherwise would not try... Thanks! Same here. I had never used the Threshold filter this way. Living and learning! Thanks from me too, fotofrank !
