I am rather fond of symmetry so I was looking around for a basic kaleidoscope or mandala tutorial and ran across this one by Helen Bradley that I found quite simple to follow: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9Iawpx7Pxo It's done in an earlier version of Photoshop but I repeated it in PSE13 and it worked just the same with the minor exception that the shortcut Ctrl-Alt-Shift-T ("Step and Repeat") didn't work in Elements. I found it almost as easy to duplicate the layer (Ctrl-J), Free Transform (Ctrl-T) and put 60 in the rotation box. Here's one I did in PSE13 using the starter image from the earlier Liquify Challenge photoshopelementsandmore.com/post/63220 . The background was done with one of the standard PSE patterns and layer style. There are many other ways to create kaleidoscopes or mandalas with plug-ins or actions so feel free to use whatever method you like and, if you remember, tell us what you did! Tony

Frank - that makes a great combination of kaleidoscopes. Nicely done Tom - I did think about doing something symmetric with that cup but it didn't work - yours did! Particularly like the mosaic background

Tony, this effect is definitely lots of fun and . . . has a very high possibility of being addictive. - Applied Topaz Clean (Curly Sharp). - Image from Pixabay.

Thanks, Tony. I used an action for mine that I thought I had shared on here at one time but a search didn't bring it up. It is called Mike's Kaleidoscope Action. Here's the original:

I had a feeling you would be able to find this, Sepiana.

Seems like the link to Mike's Kaleidoscope Action is no longer working. Can anyone somehow provide the action ? Looks like a fun thing to try.
Thanks
