I'll go all out "arty" and philosophical and choose a theme "grace" for this photo. Ring-billed gull and "my" ponds. They are so graceful. Clive, a graceful subject indeed. Great capture -- the gull flying diagonally across the frame!

My theme this week is the moon. Super Pink Moon rising over Mt. Hood. Willamette River in the foreground. Bill, beautiful shot! Layers of interest drawing our eyes from the foreground to the "star of the show" in the background.

I'll go with Bill's theme as I also shot the moon last night....although I was disappointed it wasn't "pink". Clouds were an issue so this is a composite of three shots. The foreground, sky and moon. Helen, you did a great compositing job. The shots blended in very nicely.

My theme is Blossom, seen this morning during our permitted hour of exercise. Dennis Dennis, you did justice to its beauty with an up-close-&-personal approach, great DOF, and . . . spot-on-focus. Well done!

I'll go with the spring theme - we're a bit later here than whippet and dennis but the daffodils in the garden are looking good: Tony Yes, they are indeed. I love your viewpoint (eye level?). I feel like I could just reach out and touch these beauties.

My theme is a question using an old, seldom used word. " Whither Spring?" Easter Sunday 2020. Was to be blustery the past couple of days and into next week. "Blustery" turned out to be 15 cm of snow in Friday night. Some interesting clouds and skies about these days. Cloudy, with hints of blue sky, distant snow squalls, virga clouds ... you name it. But it is not looking like spring here. Farmers will be starting late. Garden has some daff shoots and one crocus in flower. The crazy mish-mash of weather presented you with a beautiful scene, and you really captured it perfectly. I love it!

A week late, but while everyone else is displaying spring flowers, I'm watching the snow start to melt from yesterday's storm. The birds are attacking my feeder with gusto, and this male house finch posed in the tree by the feeder so I could get his portrait through the window. Shot through window and screen.

Rick, you're not late at all; there is no posting deadline. Anyway, this shot was worth waiting for -- well-composed, colorful, amazing details, great DOF.

My theme is "new". Here is the new litter which is appearing all too often - discarded gloves (and face masks) - surely the most dangerous types of litter, and appearing everywhere along pavements and in parks. Folks, please take your used gloves and masks home and put into the bin. i.ibb.co/3RjTRzq/Glove.jpgBrenda

The simple composition coupled with negative space sends a strong message. I envision this image used as an educational poster with your advice on it. Kudos to you!
