The three locations are Vancouver Island, Hawaii and Chile. Can't be more specific.

Not islands.😉 Galapagos are a province of Ecuador.

Rita and Lillias. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo close. One of your guesses was so warm. So close, that I went back to triple check I had not missed the correct answer. I can't be more specific.

I made a minor error BUT does not affect the answer. "Galapagos are a province of Ecuador." I said Chile. Meant to write Ecuador the first time.

Perhaps it would help if one knew what is on that land spit in the center of top pic. It looks like maybe sea lions, or even people. I took it into PS and tried to enlarge, but it's too low res.

Rita Indeed, those are sea lions in a bay on Vancouver Island. The ocean separates VI from the mainland. Think what VI, Hawaii and Chile all have in common. So close.

Yay! Yes. More later ...out now. Edit: Thanks Rita. Gosh, Lillias wrote Atlantic and twice I wrote "specific" thinking it would trigger "Pacific" At least Helen can't accuse me of saying it was easy! The sea lions were in a bay in Vancouver Island in 2016; the green sea turtle on the Big Island in 2013; and the flower with ocean behind was at Concón, Chile in 2009. Anyway, thanks for getting it Rita.

Duh! I should have known. On one of the quiz programmes on TV they always say if water is involved in the answer you are usually right saying the Pacific - it’s such a big ocean. I should have remembered that. Congratulations Rita...well done.
