I have been playing around with creating "Actions" in PhotoShop CS2 to then use in Elements 7
Lets assume I have four images in a group and each image has a color cast, but not the same color cast; one has a green cast, one is red, and so forth.
I choose the image with the green cast and record an Action using the familiar color cast procedure --- duplicate background > filter-blur-average > levels with the grey eyedropper > etc. etc.
I save this procedure as an Action.
Now, if I run this Action that I just created with the image that had the green cast on an image that has a red cast, will the Action follow the procedure just as I recorded it, using the grey eyedropper to sample the image and thus compensate for the red cast, OR, will the Action just apply the same levels adjustment for the green cast image ?
I hope I worded this in a way that makes sense.
Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

BuckSkin,
The middle (gray) eyedropper will be sampling the Average Blur Filter layer. This filter creates a sort of custom Photo Filter toned specifically for the image you apply it on. This means that the action will work to remove color casts in general (green, red, etc.).

Yes, that's right.

Thanks. Maybe once I get a handle on some of these Actions and batch script commands, I can speed my way through some of the thousands that I am behind.
