My first time in this forum. I generally do minimal editing, rarely use Elements any more, so I just don't feel that most of my photos quite make the same sort of statement that I see in these threads. But I was out last night for the sunset, and decided to post this one. I call this "Sundown at Wagon Wheel Ranch". This is an abandoned ranch house, built more than 100 years ago, still owned by a family friend, BJ Langdon. She leases the land to an active rancher, as her family is no longer in the cattle business, and she is well retired from teaching school.  |

Thanks to everyone for their contributions this week! As always, it is a tough choice. Here are my picks: Sundown at Wagon Wheel Ranch, by preeb - I really like the single tones throughout this shot. Open for Business, by dandc - What a timely capture of some hungry critters! And my IOW pick: Lotus Flower by hmca - A beautiful use of texture(s) on top of a lovely photo of the flower.
