Glad you joined in jacki! Hope your model survived being coffined an cross-processed. And I don’t think it’s possible to go over the top with this technique.

One more! Blame it on the non-stopping rain! - Ran my English Tea Can Painting action. - Applied Filter Forge (Cross Processing). - Image from Pixabay. Nice ones! Keep them coming and send that rain this way - my garden needs it! Tony Thanks, Tony! This is the kind of effect that invites playing with. Lots of possible interpretations! I wish I could send you some rain. As of this writing, we are having a short break but more rain is coming down this afternoon.

The garden appreciated it but I think that's enough already! Tony

This means . . . - Cross-processing effect done with PSE (Quick Edit>Effects, Orange Wash). - Applied a texture by Jason P. Odell (Luminescent Painterly, Multiply blending mode, 100% Opacity). - Image from Pixabay.

Thought it was time to try a portrait. Topaz Restyle doesn't have any particular cross-processing settings but when I saw it described as "a color tinting, cross processing, tone manipulating workhorse" I thought I had to see what it would do. Here's a before and after: Tony

Did Restyle change the background on this image, Tony? Will have to try Restyle on an image.

Tried Restyle on this flower image.... I fixed some of the petals in PS before working with Restyle. Afterwards masked back the color of the bee and some of the center of the flower.

Helen: I used Select Subject first and applied Restyle and then used that Capture extension on the background to create the pattern using the subject image. I was trying Select Subject on some old portraits that once took a while to select and now just take one click. I’m impressed with the new technology! I like your Restyled Flowers too. Tony

Tony, your wish is my command. - Created the cross-processing effect with Topaz Adjust AI (Ethereal). - Applied a Landscape Enhance texture by Merek Davis (Neutral Density, Soft Light blending mode, 50% Opacity). - Applied an Impasto Varnish texture by John Derry (Overlay blending mode, 50% Opacity). - Image from Pixabay.
