Thanks everyone for your great roads and paths. Now have a think about things that have travelled on those roads and paths (and rails and rivers) - 'old transport'. Could be a train, car, wagon, bike, boat, plane or anything similar; I just ask that it is 'old'. What do I mean by old? I'll leave you to define it as you will, just something that feels right to be shown not in glorious technicolour.
Have fun, and I look forward to seeing what gems you all come up with.

Thanks, Alex. I have a few images that I have taken that would seem to fit for this theme. I could imagine this old farm wagon going down some dirt road..... Edited in SE with a blue filter added and tweaked. Finished off with split toning in LR.  |

Good topic - and I was passing by an old truck used for oil well servicing today that seems to fit the topic. No longer roadworthy but it does run and does its job as long as it doesn't have to go too far. Processed in a combination of Lightroom and Silver Efex  Like Helen I have a few images that fit the topic - will have to look in the archives! Tony |

An old farm vehicle taking chickens to market - actually a 1912 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER M-W DELIVERY CAR and it's in a museum so no chickens were harmed in the process.  Tony |

We haven't had an old plane yet - can't remember what this one was but I think it counts as old. Processed in Topaz B&W that I haven't used in a while and a modified Jodi layer style frame. More duotone that B&W so hope that counts!  Tony |

I came across this 1953 Ford Crestline this morning. Built in my birth year, the Ford is old. I'm just upper-middle-age. ;-)  Thanks for the theme Alex! |

An old farm wagon that is likely from the 30s. The canvas hoops were added later and not original. I am trying to get a date from the land owner. Near Beaver Mines, Alberta. August 16, 2020.  |
