P is for the Pendleton store and my favorite set of reflective windows in Portland. It could also be for a visual palindrome. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!! Bill, beautiful example of urban photography! The visual palindrome takes it to another level. You nailed it!

Down in the wild flower Patch today and spotted this Monarch butterfly stocking up for its migration to Mexico on a Dense Blazing Star - described as having tall Plumes of Purplish Pink flowers so that's one more P than Bill Tony Tony, good "spotting"! It resulted in a great image (colorful and detailed) and in one more P than Bill. Well done!

pontiac1940 , nicely done! You found enough examples of P to generate a collage. I really like the Poplar Leaves image (negative space, great DOF).

P is for poppies and a purple daisy. Jackie, very nice capture! I like how the poppies take center stage and the daisy is just peeking through.

My "P" is for plums, which appeared yesterday for the first time this season in the supermarket - in this case my favourite Victoria Plums. Dennis Dennis, great composition, colors, focus! I love how you "arranged" this still life, with all the elements coming together creating a feast for the eyes and for the taste buds.

One more. Stopped by the gardens that has lotus blossoms today to see how they were doing and although it's getting towards the end of the season they are still Prolific and was able to Procure a Picture of Pink lotus Petals about to open along with a lotus seed Pod in a Pond with lily Pads. A Proliferation of P's in one Pic Tony Tony, simply beautiful! I envision it as a wrapped canvas print hanging on the wall. Another great job!

I didn't think I'd have anything again this week but just saw these two paraglider from the balcony. Helen, and you succeeded in capturing them with your longer lens. Nicely done!

whippet , you captured a variety of subjects starting with P. My favorite one is the Park Picnic Area, with its absence of the human element. A Sign of the Times!!!

My "P" is for Palace - this one most people will easily identify as Hampton Court Palace, viewed as we walked by along the Thames Path today. It never ceases to impress. Brenda Brenda, knowing your location, I was hoping to see a Palace and you delivered! Great composition with layers of interest (shady area, sunny grass, paved area) leading to the main subject. Very pleased to have you back in the WP Challenge. I always look forward to your entries.

pontiac1940, you have taken the time to add so many entries for the "P" challenge. In addition to the one that Sepiana recognized I especially liked the propane tank, the pivot images and the petrol pumps. whippet, you also submitted multiple images. The Parker pen in its original case and the Peace Garden images were standouts to me.

It was actually early on Sunday morning. So very few people around, except for dog owners . . . who don't get chance to have a late lie in.
