Welcome Tony! I had a perusal of your gallery and was impressed with the vast assortment of bird and wildlife photos. But the one that I really loved was the black and white of Alcatraz in the fog - stunning image!

Welcome Tony! I had a perusal of your gallery and was impressed with the vast assortment of bird and wildlife photos. But the one that I really loved was the black and white of Alcatraz in the fog - stunning image! I'm glad you like the photo of Alcatraz. I photographed it while on the ferry from Tiburon to the San Francisco Ferry Building.

Hi Tony. It took me awhile to figure out that "tonyb" was the same person as Tony Britton. I've admired your wonderful work for years and used your Hints & Tips whenever I needed a little boost. I'm so pleased that you liked my Sugar Shack picture, which is one of my favorites. Thank you and I look forward to your future posts and pictures. It's been said many times but it's true that it's the heart and brains that make good pictures and not the size of your wallet. What you do with the Canon SX50 (which is considered a "point and shoot" camera), proves it. Your pictures are amazing.
