We have a TV show over here called ‘Keeping Up Appearances’. It is a comedy and in the show, the lady who is the star of the show, thinks she is a singer and her voice is awful. Well I just discovered yesterday that in real life she is a classically trained mezzo soprano and I came across this video of her singing ‘Climb Every Mountain’ and love it. So I made this page and have linked to the video.

I loved that show with Patricia Routledge.and also “As Time Goes By” another British comedy on BBC.

I google and found this interview which was quite interesting. Thanks for that link Helen. I can't believe how many years I've watched Patricia Routledge in that programme and never knew her musical background.
