Thanks for the challenge Sepiana. Image from Pixabay. I took the flowers into Filter Forge and applied a splatterpainting filter.

Took some photos in the backyard this morning and dropped the working image into a leaf shot. Fiddled with blurred border, stokes and shadows.

Took the image into Topaz Studio - Urban Section - and applied the Fine Marker Drawing filter. Back in PSE applied a vignette.

Not very creative but I was playing around with the Capture Extension in Photoshop CC that, among other things, can be used to create patterns based on the image - so that's what I did for a background, added a Jodi frame and this was the result.. Tony

Thanks for the challenge Sepiana. Image from Pixabay. I took the flowers into Filter Forge and applied a splatterpainting filter. BillieJean, nicely done. The flowers look like they were on the artist's canvas to start with. Great choice of FF filter.

Very nice starter. Thanks Sepiana. Rita, you got a work of art here; perfect for a note card. How did you create the background? It's very original.

kdcintx, great idea and execution -- a jigsaw puzzle! I really like the 3D look and the colorization. Which technique did you use to get those shades of blue?
