 Image Title: Orange Ya Glad I Brightened Your Day? I captured this image this past week in the Calyx (a kind of hothouse) at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney. I used PSE to remove some blemishes and insects on the flowers and do a levels adjustment. I then brought it into Nik HDR Efex Pro to open up the shadows and bring out the green leaves. After that I took the image into Topaz Glow to give the flowers a bit of pop so they would stand out a bit more from the background. Lastly, I used Topaz Impression to impart a painterly feel to the image, but used a mask to paint back in just the flower on the right hand side. |

 Image Title: When Suddenly The Moon This is a composite image of the full moon and a silhouette of a couple standing atop the hill in Sydney Park. I took both photos very early morning (around dawn) a couple of days ago. I replaced the sky in the original photo with a blue fill as it was grey and quite noisy being that it was shot at ISO 1600. |
