Runner up images: Kathylee – Autumn Daze – The image take advantage of not only a curved line but also a leading line taking the viewer deep into the image. Your eye just follows along the road.  Helen – Bell Labs Triptych – The triptych work well with this image as it breaks the image into three unique parts. The straight lines add to the interest of the image and the three people in the image break up all of the straight lines to add interest.  The Image of the week Clive – Blue Jay on our back railing – This is an excellent and detailed capture of the bird in the falling snow. The bird has great detail in the feathers and the eye of the bird is handled very well so you can see the different parts of it. Over all a great capture.  |

Thanks for sharing what stood out for you when deciding on your IOW picks, Frank. It was a nice surprise to see my image included. Kathylee, I have enjoyed seeing all of the Fall images you have recently shared.
Clive, it was no surprise to see your blue jay image come out on top. It's a beauty!
