Thanks, Jim, Lillias and Jacki. Because I have creating triptych images for a photo assignment I've been motivated to keep at this challenge. The image was shot at Yellowstone around four years ago.

Yes, could be Helen. The image of the houses is very neat with lovely hues. The frame perhaps suppresses the three houses. Clive

Sandy Hook Houses....too much frame? Hay Helen this one is also very nice, just wondered if maybe swapping both houses around and slightly angled inwards to give 3D effect.

Thanks for your thoughts on the frame Clive and Lillias. Here it is without the outer frame..... I don't' save layers Jim and my photoshop skills are limited. I appreciate the suggestion and did give it a try.

Lillias, I really like your sepia, mountain triptych. I might try that with one of my scenes. Helen suggested the frames on her Sandy Hook houses might be "too much" and I agree. Helen gave me her permission to post this fast version. (White border is not placed well and possibly too large.)

Ahhhh.....I like your lightened version, Clive. I never would have thought to go light with this image.

I still like the original version of yours Helen I find it quite striking - if I was going to do anything with it I might try reducing the size of the darker outer frame a little bit. Sorry Clive I’m not loving the look with that white border - as you say possibly it’s too large or maybe it could do with a bit of texture on it...

as you say possibly it’s too large Lillias, Yes, it is too large. My fondness of white borders is a throwback to watercolor class days. My instructor (RIP) insisted on white borders on every watercolor (by masking the paper) or a white mat frame added after. Clive PS: See next post.
